Just a few things before you get started
Calculating your Zakat is a considered exercise. This tool works out 2.5% of your net zakatable wealth once it sits above the Nisab threshold, using only the figures you type in. Nothing leaves your browser unless you ask us to email you the result at the end.
With that in mind, before you begin it may be helpful to have the following in hand:
- Bank and savings account balances
- Gold & silver (you'll need the weight)
- Shares, pensions/super and investments
- Business assets — cash, stock, goods for sale
- Money owed to you
- Debts you owe & bills due
Once you have the above at hand, you're ready to start the journey to calculate your Zakat.
Prototype. Figures are estimates based only on what you type, and your figures stay in your browser unless you ask for them by email at the end. Metal prices are indicative and awaiting a live feed. Zakat rulings — including which assets are zakatable and which Nisab basis applies — vary between scholars. This is factual information, not personal financial or religious advice; please confirm your calculation with a qualified scholar or a Zakat body.
